Associate Director, Field Office Accounting

Nora Hakobyan possesses a Corporate Finance MBA and brings 17 years of financial management and accounting experience, spanning multinational agencies, business associations, consulting firms, and corporate banks. She is skilled in emerging markets and has deep expertise in the financial, agricultural, and healthcare sectors, particularly in international development, focusing on areas such as budgeting, financial controls, audits, and project management.

Since Joining CNFA in 2016, Nora manages and monitors systems, staff, and budgets to achieve CNFA’s financial, administrative, and programmatic goals and to ensure CNFA’s compliance with financial and operations policies. She keeps implementation within budget through the development of structured work plans, expenditure analyses, and activity tracking. Prior to joining CNFA, Nora held field finance management roles at Cardno Emerging Markets, USA as an Internal Auditor and Project Accountant.

Nora holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Brandeis International Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree from Yerevan State University, Department of Economics. Nora is a native Armenian and Russian speaker.
