Input and Service Delivery
Improving productivity, competitiveness, and access to quality inputs and services.
CNFA works with farmers to ensure reliable access to effective agricultural inputs and services, helping move communities away from subsistence farming and contributing to inclusive, competitive market and food systems. Agricultural inputs and services can range from quality seeds and fertilizers to agricultural extension services and weather information.
A cornerstone of these efforts is our Farm Service Center (FSC) approach—one-stop shops providing a range of inputs, financial support services, and market linkages that help farmers transform their businesses into productive, economically viable enterprises. FSCs serve as trusted retailers that can meet “last mile” customer demand in areas that would otherwise be underserved by traditional input retailers.
To meet the needs of consumers, processors, aggregators, and producers—including marginalized smallholders, women, and youth—our programs also support village-based agrodealers, regional wholesalers, and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises by providing critical business diagnostics, technical assistance, and access to finance and investment. Through a customized approach, we aim to strengthen the competitiveness of market actors so they can drive improvements in the quality, availability, and affordability of food. Our support extends to existing input and service delivery networks and facilitates private sector engagement and investment opportunities for business expansions and startups to fill critical service gaps in local markets and food environments.
