We leverage the expertise of U.S. farmers, researchers, and agribusiness professionals as volunteers to provide technical assistance to aspiring entrepreneurs in Southern Africa.
CNFA is committed to generating broad-based economic growth, food security, and promoting people-to-people diplomacy through volunteer efforts as an implementer of USAID’s Farmer-to-Farmer: Southern Africa Program (2023-2028).
We are currently looking for individuals interested in in-person volunteer assignments in Madagascar, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe! Assignments cover a wide range of topics, from production to processing to business management, marketing, and association development, among others. A more detailed list can be found below.

Farmer-to-Farmer connects volunteers working in the U.S. agriculture sector with host-country farmers, farm groups, agribusinesses, and other institutions to strengthen agricultural value chains and promote sustainable improvements in food security and agricultural processing, production, and marketing.
