Announcement | October 15, 2020

According to Sylvain Roy, CNFA’s president and CEO, CNFA –

“We offer our sincere congratulations to the World Food Programme on its well-deserved selection as this year’s Nobel Peace Prize honoree. Through its steadfast efforts to advance food security in conflict-affected areas amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Programme serves as an outstanding model for all organizations that work to eliminate acute hunger around the world. CNFA is proud to stand with WFP, as we and others in the international development community continue to combat food insecurity when and wherever it exists—and thereby promote peace and stability among the world’s most threatened populations.”
