Inputs, Technologies, and Services
Building commercial networks that deliver American products and technologies to farmers worldwide.
CNFA strengthens privately operated agricultural input and service networks that connect farmers to quality products, technologies, and technical expertise. Our flagship Farm Service Center model—200+ commercially viable one-stop shops offering inputs, advisory services, and market linkages—has been deployed across three continents and continues to operate profitably decades after establishment.
These networks create markets for American goods and services. In Azerbaijan and Georgia, U.S. seed, machinery, cold storage, and technology—like pheromone-based monitoring and surveillance systems produced by Trécé Inc.—entered new markets with our support. In Bangladesh, our trained agrodealer network of 3,346 retailers generated over $110 million in sales serving 900,000+ farmers. In Moldova, 85 village-based farm stores have served 500,000+ farmers annually for over 25 years—entirely self-sustaining. We also professionalize rural retailers through business training and certification, link them to supplier credit, and build lasting local input supply networks—like RUMARK in Malawi and AGMARK in Zimbabwe—that maintain commercial networks independently after donor support has ended. They operate as businesses, creating lasting distribution channels that American companies can leverage to reach new customers.
