Xavier Rolet is a senior fellow at Harvard University and serves on the Yale Center for Business and the Environment and the Columbia Business School boards. A veteran of global finance, he has served as CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group and CQS Management, and held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, and First Boston.

Named one of Harvard Business Review‘s Top 100 CEOs in the world, Rolet champions start-ups and SMEs. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MSc in Management from Kedge Business School, and a postgraduate degree in Defense Studies and Economic Intelligence from IHEDN.

He is currently chairman of Prytek Ltd and Shore Capital Markets, and serves on the boards of the Saudi Tadawul Group, Wamid AS, KM Dastur Ltd, and Ranchlands Inc. He is also an external portfolio director at the Public Investment Fund and a senior advisor to Towerbrook Capital Partners.

Outside of finance, Rolet is passionate about conservation and regenerative agriculture. With his wife Nicole, he restored La Verrière, a Provençal estate where they produce organic wine. In Montana’s Centennial Valley, he is involved in native species restoration and serves as a volunteer firefighter.

An avid natural horseman, beekeeper, fly-fisherman, and Dakar Rally competitor, he is committed to innovation and sustainability. His honors include Honorary KBE (UK), Knight of the French Legion of Honor, Officer of Morocco’s Royal Sharifian Order, and Echansonnier of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
