Washington Ag Roundtable

Connecting Agriculture, Trade, and Policy in Washington

For more than six decades, the Washington Ag Roundtable has brought together leaders from across the agriculture community for timely conversations on the issues shaping U.S. agriculture, trade, and global markets.

Today, CNFA is proud to host the Washington Ag Roundtable, providing a forum where representatives from government, industry, producer organizations, academia, and the broader agricultural community can connect, exchange ideas, and hear directly from leaders influencing U.S. agricultural policy and commerce.

A Forum for Candid Conversation

The Washington Ag Roundtable luncheon program is intentionally informal and off the record, creating a welcoming environment for open dialogue, candid discussion, and relationship-building across the agricultural community.

Its collegial format encourages speakers and participants to engage directly, exchange perspectives, and build connections across government, industry, producer organizations, academia, and the broader agricultural community.

Monthly programs feature leaders and experts addressing issues such as:

  • U.S. agricultural trade and market access
  • Commercial diplomacy and emerging markets
  • Agricultural policy and government priorities
  • Global food and agricultural markets
  • Private-sector investment and innovation
  • Opportunities and challenges facing U.S. producers and agribusinesses

Bringing the Agricultural Community Together

The Roundtable reflects a simple idea: stronger connections among agriculture, government, and the private sector can help create new opportunities for U.S. agriculture.

By bringing together diverse perspectives from across Washington and the agricultural community, the Roundtable creates a trusted space to exchange information, strengthen relationships, and explore how policy, trade, investment, and commercial engagement can advance U.S. agriculture at home and around the world.

Hosted by CNFA

For more than 40 years, CNFA has worked at the intersection of agriculture, trade, and private enterprise, helping farmers and agricultural businesses access markets, technology, investment, and commercial opportunities.

Hosting the Washington Ag Roundtable builds on that tradition and reinforces CNFA’s commitment to bringing together the people and institutions working to strengthen agriculture and expand commercial opportunities.
